Fruits, vegetables & Crops:
maize and wheat is main crop of the haripur city. Most of people in urban areas,villagers and backward areas people do agriculture. Plenty of water is available for their fields. Rice is also cultivated in some places near water. Sunflower, til, pulses, oat, barley,
common vegetables are ladyfinger, turnip, brainless, pumpkin, ghee tori, tomato, potato, peas, spinach,coriander, bitter gourd, mustard,


mustered,curry and sinji with maize bred and lassi is favourite food of villages and people who do agriculture. Those people are comparatively stronger than other people of city they suffer less of diseases and have a tough life.
Milk, lassi, yogurt (Dahi), butter and ghee is included in their daily food.
Fruits includes Amrood (Guava), loath, Alocha, peaches, pomegranate, khanpur is famous for its Red blood Oranges, leechi is also a famous fruit of this are, other fruits are also gift of God

Seasons and Behaviour of Peoples:
It is the Greatness of Allah that haripur has gift of four seasons,

WINTER
SPRING
AUTUMN
As the name indicates Haripur. Hari means Green. Haripur is ever green city. Hills are covered with long Pinus trees and some are covered with green valvet grass some areas are full with trees others with fields containing different vegetables and fruits etc.
There are trees on the sides of roads. People changes with seasons people of hilly areas are whit and tough and smart their mind is cool and soft and use polite way to speak. People of plane areas are brown in color they are not too tough as compare to hilly area people, but they are short temped, over all people are hospitable, most of people bring tea for their guests, in summer beverages and juices are placed before the guests. Maximum people have made separate guesthouses for guests where guests and friend have gossips at evening till late night. We call it Hujra or Dera. Hujras are always open for passengers, strangers and any needed person, where they can have tea, meal or drink if they need.
People are loving caring and live in mutual cooperation to each other. They help their neighbours, share their food which they cook. It is daily routine of neighbours to exchange their food which they cook.
